Edit Abilities

Inside the Console, type the command: "edit abilities" - this will bring up a menu of all your character's attributes. List are "lp" which is skill points, "xp" which is experience points, "xp_next" which is how many experience points you need to hit your next level, "level" which is your current level, "voice_pitch" which is the main character's vocal pitch, and "guild" which is set numerically to represent which faction you currently represent.

Note to US players: To type an underscore, hit Shift-?

To get access to the Console, bring up the Player Stats Screen (Default S) and then type "marvin" then press (S) to exit. A text should pop up saying Marvin-Mode, this gives you full access to the console.

Blood Mode
Use a text editor to edit the "gothic.ini" file in the game folder. Change the "bloodDetail 1" entry to "bloodDetail 3".

Cheat Codes
Use a text editor to edit the "gothic.ini" file in the game folder.
Change the "test mode 0" entry to "test mode 1" to enable cheat mode.
While playing a game, press one of the following keys to activate the corresponding cheat function:

[F2] - Console
[F3] - Play in windows mode
[F4] - Normal mode
[F5] - Immobile camera
[F6] - Mobile camera
[F7] - Cycle trough game sections
[F8] - Health and mana refresh
H - Character harms himself
Z - Character spins around
K - Character vanishes in the ground (press multiple times)gothic.ini change
