AVault Review^©: The upshot of Takeda is that just about everything they tried has been tried before and executed much better in Shogun: Total War. There are very few things in Takeda that even appear to work as the developers intended. Technical problems and control difficulties plague the title at every turn, making playing the game more like an assignment in an anger management class than an enjoyable experience. The bitter icing on the cake is the developer`s own straightforward admission in the game`s own manual that the consumer paid to be a beta tester when picking up Takeda. That is unacceptable in any product, major AAA level games and small-time independent titles alike. - Gavin Carter
