AVault Review©: Remote Assault is a decent start for a strategy game or military simulation, but as a finished title, it falls short. Basic graphics, a limited storyline, and non-existent sound and music make it seem as though the game is still in production. The lack of cleanly defined sides, the homogeneity of the units, and the confusing interface also serve to disconnect the player from the action. While it-s commendable that tactics were given higher priority over other aspects of gameplay, the emphasis on strategy and deception was so great that all the other elements fell to the wayside. Buffs of military strategy and warfare will probably enjoy Remote Assault, but most RTS players should pass on it without a second glance. - Jeff Haynes
