AVault Review^©: LEGO Racers 2 ends up being a quite enjoyable game, but it never fulfills its potential as a top arcade combat racer. The adventure mode is quite intriguing, the ability to build cars from scratch and watch them disassemble is entertaining, and the split-screen competition is a blast. However, there is not enough substance in the racing options, track challenges, and audiovisual polish to set this offering apart from the pack. It is cute and perky, but LEGO needs to up the ante a bit more to come close to finishing first. Even so, LEGO Racers 2 provides a pleasant brick-laden romp away from the stresses and strains of everyday driving. - Bob Mandel
