Strategy First and Auran have signed a licensing agreement with Discreet to create and distribute gmax tools for their new model railroad simulation, Trainz. Discreet’s gmax will allow users to create and import their own 3D content into the game and extend the capabilities of the Trainz Surveyor. Trainz already allows users to create layouts, but with gmax, these designs can be populated with objects and locomotives created by end users and swapped over the Internet.

Strategy First has announced the completion of Trainz, its model railroad simulation developed by Auran. The game, which was developed by Auran, lets players build virtual track layouts, complete with hundreds of different objects and textures. Link
